After a training as a food and dietician and Industrial Engineer in the food industry, I went on an exploration trip abroad.

There I learned about a new product based on milk and saw potential to use it to offset part of the milk surplus in Belgium. With the idea and its elaboration, I became Laureate of the innovation campaign of the Farmers' Union and I became laureate of Bizidee.  The desire for innovation and entrepreneurship was born.

Because innovation and development requires funding, I remained active as an employee in the food industry and continued to expand my innovative side business.

After 10 years of experience in various food companies such as Iscal sugars, Culinor and Soubry, I started as R&D manager at Flandria Foods and Flandor Flavours International specializing in soups, sauces, spice mixes and flavor solutions for a wide range of applications in very diverse food sectors.

In 2013, together with my business partner, I founded Aromen bv, which is active in the international wellness industry. The aim is to create natural experiences in wellness with a focus on the use of essential oils. This was a perfect addition to the knowledge and experience with (natural) sweet and savory flavor solutions.

In recent years I have further expanded my customer base and worked with national and international companies to market their innovative products or adapt existing recipes according to contemporary trends and current legislation.

In addition to the technological insight into food and food products, optimizing taste, smell, color and texture, interest in the culinary basis also increased. In 2021, after an intense period of 3 years, I was also able to obtain a chef's degree.

With 20 years of experience in the food industry and more than 10 years of experience in (natural) sweet and savory flavor solutions, I also want to be to your service.

All this ensures a thorough multi-disciplinary approach as a food technologist, nutritionist, industrial engineer and culinary chef, which ensures a goal-oriented and results-oriented approach.
